JAN : Mmm. This coffee is really strong. STEVE: I like it that way. JAN : So do I. All during my last class I was thinking about coming here and could almost taste the coffee. STEVE: Sounds like it wasnt too exciting. JAN : I was bored to death. Im in that class only because its a requirement, so I have to stick it out. The problem is, the professor doesnt know how to spark our interest. She just walks in and lectures. Theres no discussion. STEVE: What a drag! Dont people ask questions? JAN : Oh, yeah, once in a blue moon. But I always see an awful lot of people doodling, and I can tell their minds are wandering. Do you have any classes like that? JAN : 음. 이 커피 굉장히 강하다. STEVE: 나는 그런 방식 좋아해. JAN : 나도 그래. 마지막 수업시간 내내 여기 올 생각만 했고 커피 맛도 거의 느끼는 줄 알았다니까. STEVE: 듣고 보니 수업이 굉장히 재미없었나보네. JAN : 지루해 죽는 줄 알았어. 단지 필수과목이니까 그 수업 듣는 거야. 그래서 끝까지 들어야 돼. 문제는 교수님이 우리 흥미를 어떻게 유발하는지 모른다는 거야. 교수님은 그냥 들어와서 강의만 하. 토론은 절대 없어. STEVE: 안됐다! 사람들이 질문하지 않니? JAN : 응. 아주 가끔. 아주 많은 사람들이 낙서하는 게 보여. 그 사람들이 딴 생각하고 있는 거 같아. 너는 그런 수업 없어? - 중략 -
