T: The teacher explains to students what editing is. Editing is the last step of writing. In this step, you do self correcting.
Teacher encourages students to apply these grammatical concepts directly to the current revisions of their paragraphs.
Teacher introduces self-editing giving out the worksheet as well as emphasizing students to focus on grammar, punctuation and mechanics. Let students be in a group of 4. They can edit others' paragraph on the paper. After that, students do self-editing by using the self-editing worksheet that teacher gives.
One more time, teacher emphasizes the importance of editing Ss' peer's writing and describes the peer editing offering checklist to help students better do on self-editing.
