노키아는 21세기 초반 세계를 지배하는 휴대폰 기업이었다. 하지만 지금은 그들이 판매하던 제품들은 시장에서 찾기 힘들어졌고, 노키아의 휴대폰 사업부 또한 마이크로소프트에 매각하였다. 그 후 노키아는 휴대폰 사업을 네트워크 분야로 사업을 확장 및 개편하였지만, 회사의 영광은 유지되지 않고 있다. 노키아의 쇠락에는 여러 이유가 복합적으로 작용했겠지만, 그 중 가장 큰 이유는 아이폰의 등장으로 인한 스마트폰산업 의 급격한 성장을 들 수 있을 것이다.
