③ Sister chromatid exchange
Chemical에 의해 유도된 sister chromatid exchange를 관찰하여 genetic damage를 test한다.
④ Dorminant lethal test
어떤 chemical에 의한 mutation이 정상적인 development에서는 생기지 않을 때, 그 chemical의 mutagenic potential을 측정하기 위한 test이다. 보통 설치류를 대상으로 실험한다. 수컷에게 test compound의 single dose를 노출시킨 뒤 mutagen에 노출되지 않는 두 마리의 암컷과 8주동안 매주 교미시킨다. 그 후, term(출산예정일)전에 죽여서, 살아있는 embryo와 corpora lutea(황체)의 수를 조사하고 그로부터 mutagenic potential을 추정한다.
