Kimbap is the one of the famous Korean foods, and literally means seaweed-rice. The seaweed paper used to wrap the rice and filling is called kim in Korean. If you are not familiar with what kind of food kimbap is, you could think it as Korean style sushi. Many Koreans usually make kimbap when they go to picnics or on field trips because kimbap is very easy not only to make, but also to eat at one bite.
When you make kimbap, you can find the ingredients more easily than for any other Korean food, because all kimbap usually needs some vegetables, egg and meat, which are easy to fins anywhere. However, people are trying to create new ways to make kimbap with many ingredients such as cheese, tuna or other foods these days.
Thus, ingredients for kimbap can be added according to an individuals own taste and imagination. Because the process of making kimbap is very easy, anyone at any age can do it without any difficulty.
