Once upon a time there lived a farmer who worked far from his home in the fields of a rich baron. In the past, gangs of bandits hid in the mountains rising behind th plain but the emperor had sent his soldier to find and kill the thieves. And now the area was safe and quiet. Every once in a while, however, old weapons from past battles could be found in the fields. While he was chopping a stump one day, the farmer found a bag full of gold. The farmer had only ever seen silver coins in his life, and he was so astonished to find all that gold, that when he started walking home it was already dark. On his way home, the farmer thought about the problems that this sudden wealth could cause him. 아주 오랜 옛날에 농부가 살았습니다. 그 농부는 자신의 집으로 부터 멀리 떨어진 곳 부유한 남작의 뜰에서 일을 했습니다. 그 이전 과거에는 악당들이 평야 뒤에 솟아있는 산에 숨어있었습니다. 그러나 그 왕이 자신의 군대들을 그 악당들을 찾아서 죽이기 위해서 보냈습니다. 그래서 지금은 그 지역이 안전하고 조용해졌습니다. 그러나 이 따끔 씩 그 지난 전쟁에서 나온 오래된 무기들이 그 들판에서 발견되어 질 수 있었습니다. 그는 어느 날 그루터기를 쪼개고 있는 동안 그 농부는 금으로 가득 찬 그런 주머니를 발견했습니다. - 중략 -
